Nearly through the most pressing work now and I may even carve out a whole weekend to do the things I can only do when the things I have to do are done: let do what you will be the whole of the weekend, as the badge she gave me says. So I could drive down and see her and the draw is strong because it's always a little holiday to be there as my stuff to do isn't, so I relax. I could, but I'm not going to. So it must be filled with job applications and sorting bank things out and buying groceries and fixing the twisted things left in corners for later. If it isn't, I'll regret it, because I could have seen her and helped build the studio and drank wine, which always feels like time well spent.
